Woah, I shouldn't have skipped your paintings when I did the favorite-picking-thing-for-the-thumbshare-thread. 
This is one helluvan impressive painting, the intensity of the stare is awe-inspiring!
The shading is spot-on, and the varied colors work great to create a feeling of rage. Most impressive, though, is the eye - the little white glint, the thin red veins - jawdropping! 
I bet it looks even better in reality! Did you ever complete it, or was is supposed to be just a close-up?
